The Assault Scout is a small atmospheric capable craft that has become the focal point of tactical strikes in the UPF. It is fast and maneuverable, and well armed. Using a class 3 hull and displacing 200 tons, the Assault Scout measures 50m long and 10m at the widest point aft. The atomic drives and maneuver drives are wing-mounted, but the rest of the equipment is accesible from the interior.

Lower deck features the main hold, crew lockers for zero-G equipment, landing gear and forward firing weapon system access.

Upper deck features forward avionics, bridge, galley with mainframe computer and fresher, four double occupancy cabins, engineering section (with toolshop, life support, and water purification plant and tank), and an aft ready room/storage area. A laser battery is mounted dorsally from the engineering section.
